In my attempt to attend grad school for Organic Chemistry, I have found that there is a deficiency on the web. There is no site with concise mechanisms of organic reactions. Most of the time you have to search through stacks of books to find the mechanism that you need. I have decided to try to compile a set of reaction mechanisms begining with the basics and ending with the Name Reactions. I begin with the basic mechanisms. These mechanisms are generally needed for the sophomore organic chemistry course. They are not all inclusive but they should give a general idea of the mechanism types. Remember that these are generalizations.
