"If it wiggles, it's Biology"

When I started taking Biology classes, I wanted to know why animals behaved the way that the did. I wanted to know if animals had a greater intelligence than we tend to give them. I anthropormorphized them. As I took more classes, I found that the research done was not the kind of research that I wanted to do. I decided that I would end up a park ranger somewhere. That wouldn't be so bad. Then I took a botany class and found that I was very interested in plants. I found that Biology wasn't only animals. This opened my mind to new experiences and thoughts. I took other courses such as Molecular Biology of the Cell, Fire Ecology and Lichenology and realized that I liked those fields much more than only studying animals. Now I am interested in the chemistry of plants. In short, I am interested in the medicinal properties of plants
